Jorun : "I've always been a huge fan of Mantronix's production, Double Dee & Steinski and the incredible tape splicing edits of the Latin Rascals on KISS FM in NYC circa 1984. Another lost art which nobody really capitalized on since this skill did not come a dime a dozen.. (only a small handful truly mastered this art) not to mention, NYC hip hop was changing styles daily like underwear... so by the time you DID learn how to do it, it was already outdated. Of course, that doesn't happen nowadays since Autotune still hasn't gotten the message that it's overstayed it's welcome.. so we invited tape splicing edits back to crash the party"

Sean One : "Writing a chorus together is something First Words does often. I remember writing the chorus for the song in the studio and recording our parts. I was drinking a lot of water that day, but don't worry we recycled all those bottles." (in reference to the "bottles of water everywhere" quote before Sean One's verse)
